Archaeology Plan advise and provide consultancy on heritage to private clients and public bodies. Our consultancy aims to facilitate modern development in historical landscapes, whilst preserving Ireland’s archaeological and built heritage.

Our fieldwork services support all market sectors, and cover all periods and types of archaeology. We have an excellent track record in delivering projects in line with client programme timelines and budgets – from watching briefs (monitoring), to large scale evaluation, and full archaeological excavation. Our experienced project management team consistently deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective archaeological solutions for clients.

With excellent experience in buried archaeology, buildings and historic landscapes, and research projects, our experts bring added value to a project team and ensure that projects with potential heritage impacts are managed appropriately and effectively. We are partnered with Buchan, Kane and Foley, Grade 1 Conservation Architects who offer additional services in building conservation and restoration. We also have relationships with other professionals in a number of fields such as ecology, environmental engineering, conservation, landscape gardening and geology.

We are committed to education and enabling people to discover and enjoy the heritage of Ireland, and we welcome visitors to our excavation sites on open days and tours. We are keen to integrate with local communities and help them connect with their heritage.
